ESPNPlay.com is a broadband network for live sports programming. ESPNPlay.com harnesses the quality ESPN has built through its TV networks and delivers online sports programming to fans through a rich, interactive, and easy-to-use experience.

ESPNPlay.com broadcasts thousands of live games and events online each year. Some events are exclusive to ESPNPlay.com, while others are broadband-enhanced versions of games from one of ESPN's TV networks and affiliate partner networks.

What kind of programming does ESPNPlay.com offer?

How long are games archived?


Games and events are available in ESPNPlay.com's archives varying from 24 hours to more than a week, depending on the sport.

When will full programs be available to follow them online?


In general full programs are published in ESPNplay.com the day after their first air on TV, although many times they are available on the same day on the first air. Once it is published, you will be able to follow your favorite show on ESPNplay.com whenever you want, you will no longer miss any ESPN show.

Is ESPNplay.com a paid service?


ESPNplay.com is a free service available for clients of pay TV systems (Cable, DTH, IPTV operators among others) that are ESPN Affiliates.

Can I access ESPNplay.com if I am not at home?


Yes, you can. In order to access ESPNplay.com remotely you need to have the user and password assigned by your Pay TV provider.

Can I access ESPNplay.com if I am outside my country?


No, you can't. You can only access ESPNplay.com within the coverage area of your pay TV provider.

Technical Questions


How do I change the video that I am watching?


You can choose the video you want to play by clicking on the thumbnails available on the lower part of the player.

In the LIVE section you can find events that are currently being aired live, next scheduled events and a file with events that have already finished.

In the VOD section you can find full shows, summaries and other clips. In this section you have a menu that enables you to filter videos by sport.

You can also use the ESPNplay.com search engine to look up other contents.

Can I pause video?


Yes, you can. To pause the main big video, click on the pause button on the bottom left of that screen. To pause the smaller mosaic windows, click on the "Pause Video Feeds" button located underneath the windows.

Why does audio or video playback stop and/or stall?


Playback should not stop or stall under normal circumstances. However, video delivery may be disrupted during periods of internet congestion or when too many computer applications are open at the same time.

What can I do if the video stops or plays slowly?


To improve the ESPNplay.com experience it is recommended to have a broadband internet connection over 768 Kbps (minimum 450 Kbps).

Why does my window not resize to the Compact Mode/Full Screen Mode?


This can happen in Firefox when the browser's advanced javascript settings have been modified.
